Bringing Bouvier des Flandres owners together for the love and enjoyment of this great breed.

Rescue

If you’re thinking of adding a Bouvier to your family, think about a rescue!

A Bouvier that has been pre-owned can make a fantastic pet. An ILP (Indefinite Listing Privilege) number can easily be obtained from the AKC so, should you want, you can do just about any activity (except conformation showing) with a rescued dog. Just owning one can be a wonderfully rewarding experience! Additional information can be obtained from the American Bouvier Rescue League, the rescue arm of the American Bouvier des Flandres Club.

In addition to consulting the website, information can be obtained from the New England Regional Coordinator for the ABRL and the B.O.N.E. Rescue Contact:

There are currently two fund-raising events going on for the benefit of the American Bouvier Rescue League:

First, there is the annual sale of a beautiful Bouvier Calendar sponsored by the Bouvier Friends Social Club.  All profits from the sale of these calendars are donated to the ABRL ($6500 over the past two years!).  See www.bfsc.org for information.

Second, there is a forthcoming eBay auction of a gorgeous queen-sized quilt with a Bouvier theme that has been donated to the ABRL by a very generous anonymous person.  Information can be found at http://www.bouvier.org/pdf/BOUVIER%20QUILT.pdf.
